Buyer and marketplace recourse

Responsibility stays visible after payment.

Marketplace sellers remain responsible for their offer and fulfillment. LinkSell operates the software, account, reporting, and acceptable-use surfaces.

Product, identity, support, and fulfillment

Buyers should review the seller, listing, delivery terms, contact path, and published refund policy before authorizing payment.

Software, records, reports, and account access

Listings can be reported for review. Prohibited activity is defined by the Acceptable-Use Policy.

Settlement is not a card chargeback. A finalized transfer is not reversed through LinkSell, but a seller can issue a separate refund and a buyer can still report a listing.

These controls support merchant operations. They do not remove wallet, product, tax, refund, stablecoin, or network responsibility.

Verified settlement wallets

A live payment surface resolves settlement to a verified merchant wallet for the selected network.

Signed webhooks

Webhook deliveries carry signatures so merchants can verify that a payload came from LinkSell.

Scoped API keys

Merchant API access is tenant-scoped and permissions are checked at the server boundary.

Two-factor authentication

Merchants can protect human account access with TOTP and one-time recovery codes.

Honest limitations

What LinkSell is not

  • Not a bank or custodian. LinkSell does not hold customer funds or merchant wallet keys.
  • No card fallback. Buyers need a compatible wallet, a live supported network, and the requested asset.
  • Stablecoin and network risk still exist. USDC targets a US-dollar peg; that target and blockchain operation are not guarantees from LinkSell.
  • No implied certification or uptime promise. This page describes shipped controls and public evidence only.
