Acceptable-Use Policy

This policy applies to you as a merchant, to everyone acting under your account, and to any software, agent, or automated client that pays through or integrates with your checkout. You are responsible for keeping your products, your buyers, and your integrations within these rules.

This policy is part of, and read alongside, the Terms of Service and the Merchant Agreement. Where this policy is stricter, this policy applies.

You may not use LinkSell to sell, offer, or facilitate any of the following:

• Anything illegal where you or your buyer are located, or whose sale to a given buyer is illegal.
• Stolen goods, stolen data, stolen credentials, or access to accounts that are not yours to sell.
• Weapons, explosives, or controlled regulated goods you are not licensed to sell.
• Controlled substances, prescription medicines sold without authorisation, or products marketed with illegal health claims.
• Child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or any content that sexualises minors.
• Counterfeit goods, or material that infringes another party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights.
• Malware, exploits, credential-stuffing tools, or services whose primary purpose is to break into, disrupt, or defraud others.
• Financial products that require licensing you do not hold — securities, deposit-taking, lending, or money transmission dressed up as a "product".

Regardless of what you sell, you may not use LinkSell to:

• Defraud or deceive buyers — including bait-and-switch listings, fake scarcity, or charging for goods you do not intend to deliver.
• Launder money, evade sanctions, or move value on behalf of a third party you are concealing.
• Misrepresent who you are, who the seller is, or what a buyer is paying for.
• Abuse, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service, or attempt to bypass its security or rate limits.
• Resell or rebrand the checkout as your own payment service, or use it to host another party's prohibited products.

LinkSell is non-custodial. Buyers settle USDC directly to your wallet on-chain; LinkSell never takes possession, custody, or control of buyer or merchant funds, and cannot reverse, freeze, or claw back a settled payment.

Because LinkSell hosts the software around a payment rather than the money, enforcement under this policy is about access to the service — we can stop hosting a checkout, remove a listing, or suspend an account. We cannot and do not touch funds that have already settled to a wallet.

x402 is designed so that software agents can pay programmatically. Agent-driven and automated traffic is welcome, but it is held to exactly the same standard as a human buyer: an agent must not be used to defraud, to evade these rules, or to sell anything prohibited above.

You are responsible for automated activity initiated through your account, your API keys, or your agent integrations, just as you are for activity by a person.

If we reasonably believe a listing, account, or integration breaks this policy, we may take down the listing, disable the storefront or checkout, restrict automated access, or suspend the account. Where it is safe and lawful to do so, we aim to tell you what happened and why, and to give you a route to respond.

For serious or repeated breaches — illegal goods, fraud, abuse material — we may act immediately and without prior notice, and may report the activity to the relevant authorities. These decisions are made by a person, not automatically.

If you believe a checkout, storefront, or product hosted on LinkSell breaks this policy, report it to our support address with the link and a short description. We review reports and act on the ones that breach these rules.

We may update this policy as the service and the law evolve. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use of LinkSell after a change means you accept the updated policy.
